Recently bought or adopted a furry friend in Singapore? Read on to find out more about where you can bring them! As we know, Singapore is limited in land space and not all of us are blessed with a backyard or a huge garden. Our options are rather limited and we can only rely on the green spaces available in our neighbourhoods. We list out some of the new and fun places for your lovely pets and you will be glad to know that there are more dog-friendly spaces available than you might have realised.
1. Bishan Park (Along Bishan Road and Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1)

A fenced dog run is located right within the premises of the Bishan Park. This park gets especially busy on weekends and not to forget the various food spots available for the general public visiting the park.
2. Katong Park (Junction of Fort and Meyer Road)

This park has a fenced up and a sizeable area that contains several agility facilities.
3. West Coast Park (Parallel to West Coast Highway)
This dog run is open to the public at all times with no designated operating hours. Car Park 1 is the closest to the dog run and certain large breeds should be kept on leash at all times.
4. Jurong Lake Park (Within Jurong Lake District)
Source: Nparks
Although this park is 24/7, it is poorly lit after daylight hours. Therefore, a day visit is encouraged. Another interesting fact about the Jurong Lake Park is that this park was recently renovated and has received an excellent facelift for park goers to enjoy.
5. East Coast Park (Along East Coast Parkway and East Coast Park Service Road)
Should we say more about this park? Sighting a picturesque coastline and fresh air, East Coast Park is a great venue for your pet pooch to run about. This park is particularly packed with fervent cyclists and runners.
6. Botanic Gardens (1 Cluny Road)
Botanic Gardens is one park that is filled with plenty of greenland and hilly spots to explore. Also, it is part of the UNESCO World Heritage so its definitely worth a visit with your furry one.
7. Southern Ridges
The ridges comprises 10 kilometres of open space that connects Mount Faber Park, Telok Blangah Hill Park, HortPark, Kent Ridge Park and Labrador Nature Reserve. The Henderson Waves, Singapore’s highest pedestrian bridge is also in close proximity.
